Having kept it under wraps for the last few weeks, Crystal Palace gave their first outing to next season’s home shirt during their 5-3 victory over Bournemouth; to say it went down well with supporters would be something of an understatement.

Maintaining the classic template of red and blue stripes, the Puma design features accents of white on the shirt and socks, giving an overall impressive that is bright, distinctive and in-keeping with traditions, whilst freshening things up significantly.
Having endured a pretty grim home campaign in 2018/19, the sight of our players smashing in five goals from open play whilst wearing the new strip certainly lifted the spirits of the Selhurst faithful, who are no doubt hopeful of seeing the core group who routed the Cherries returning to wear the same shirts from August onwards.
We are yet to see anything of next season’s away strip but if it’s half as good as the new home offering, we’re in for a treat. Honestly, just look at it, what’s not to like?
