Parish Rubbishes Spurs Rumours, Big Sam Talks Sakho & Punch Praises Wilf

Crystal Palace may not be playing this weekend due to the FA Cup quarter-final between Tottenham and Millwall but it’s been an extremely busy seven days in SE25.

This feature sees every Palace related quote from the last week collated in one place. It’s the perfect way to catch up.

Having suffered a string of demoralising defeats over the last few months, the Eagles’ last two outings have offered grounds for real optimism once again, securing six points thanks to wins against Middlesbrough (1-0) and West Brom (0-2) respectively.

As you would expect, the players have had their say on both performances with the likes of Hennessey, Puncheon and Tomkins all offering their view to the press in the aftermath of our victory at The Hawthorns.

There has also been a great deal of discussion over the impact made by Mamadou Sakho, who has been a revelation at the heart of our defence. Both Tomkins and manager Sam Allardyce have had their say on the Liverpool man’s qualities, with the gaffer comparing him to one of the most flamboyant characters in English football’s recent history.

Away from on-field matters, Steve Parish has blasted the media for stories surrounding the future of Wilfried Zaha, Didier Deschamps has given an alarming perspective on Steve Mandanda’s future and Luka Milivojevic has revealed how much he hates Brighton.

All of the above quotes and more are included in the piece attached at the top of the page. If you’ve been out of the loop completely for a week or so, it’s an absolute godsend.

Enjoy.

I would love nothing more than to write about Crystal Palace FC for a living. If you would like to help me do that, removing adverts from this site forever in the process, please click here. I’ve already managed to raise a staggering amount of money, if you can spare anything at all towards it, I would be hugely grateful. Cheers.
