VIDEO: Watch Dwight Gayle’s Huge West Ham Equaliser Over & Over Again

It’s a few days since Crystal Palace secured a potentially vital point away at West Ham, but that almost certainly won’t have quelled your desire to revel in the dramatic moment Dwight Gayle brought us level in the final 15 minutes.

These video highlights of Palace’s 2-2 draw with West Ham allow you to enjoy Dwight Gayle’s massive late equaliser as often as you want. A magical moment.

Thanks to the Hammers’ official website, we can enjoy a highlights package of the game in question, which could prove to be the blue-touch paper for an end of season push towards mathematical safety, providing a springboard for this weekend’s home clash with fellow strugglers Norwich City.

The video also allows you to pour over the finite details of Dimitri Payet’s stunning first-half free-kick in the hope of gaining some sense of clarity over whether Wayne Hennessey was at fault for letting it sail over his head and into the top right-hand corner of the net. It is a subject which has divided opinion dramatically ever since it flew into the goal, but you can now examine it for as long as your heart desires.

Few would argue that our second half display offered a number of positives for the coming weeks, as the players continued to scrap for every ball until the controversial dismissal of Cheikhou Kouyaté, which undoubtedly swung the game in our favour ahead of the closing stages. Indeed, Gayle’s explosive display from the bench has provoked a large section of our support to implore Pardew to start the former Peterborough man when we welcome Alex Neill and co. to SE25 in a few days time.

Perhaps most importantly, the draw kept us seven points clear of the bottom three with seven games left to play, meaning that victory against the Canaries would all but secure our place in the top flight for another year. Let’s keep our fingers, toes and whatever else we can think of crossed.

Enjoy.

He looks bigger and stronger. I really hope he can kick on from this and get into the team more, no doubt he has talent.
