The National Press React To Crystal Palace Reaching The FA Cup Semi-Finals

The national press have been relatively open in their praise of Crystal Palace after last night’s game, admitting that we were clearly the better side against Reading.

This newspaper round-up from last night’s win over Reading will put a big smile on your face. We’re off to Wembley!

Plenty of people have raised questions over whether or not Yannick Bolasie was right to go down under Cooper’s challenge, but thankfully, most journalists are heaping praise on us as the classier of the two teams on the night.

Watching on from the away end, there was a palpable sense of frustration for much of the game, but in hindsight, we can look towards last night’s annoyance as a sign of how far we’ve progressed in recent seasons on the field, given the demands we now place on those who are chosen to represent us.

Statistics suggest that we were by far the better side on the night, which, even though it should be expected on paper, made for an extremely welcome change from our recent form in the Premier League. It may have taken until the 85th minute, but the feeling at full-time was more than worth the wait.

We all love to bask in the glow of a big win for a day or two, so flick through the assorted reports of our win last night with a big smile on your face.
