There is a feel-good factor returning to Selhurst Park as a result of our fantastic 1-0 win over Tottenham at White Hart Lane last Sunday, and this video is likely to put an even bigger smile on your face.
This video montage of Palace goals from the last 25 years is guarunteed to make your Wednesday a little better than it was 10 minutes ago. We may have endured some low moments of late, but we’ve had plenty of high points too.
Football fans are understandably quick to place a huge degree of emphasis on nostalgia, after all, looking back at previous high points is a quick-fire way to remind yourself of happier times, and over the last five years or so, we’ve had our fair share of ups and downs.
Whilst the last couple of months have been anything but pleasant, the video attached above highlights a selection of fantastic goals from the last 25 years, allowing us all to spend a few minutes with a soppy grin on our face before going back to the grind of a Wednesday at work.
As I’m sure you’ll all understand, I have a particular soft spot for David Hopkin’s beautiful curling strike at Wembley, but you are more than likely to find your own personal favourite in there too.
For some reason, the man who has taken the time to put the montage together has blocked HLTCO on Twitter; I have absolutely no idea what prompted him to do it, but he deserves to be commended for his efforts all the same. I’m not one to hold a grudge, unless you’re name is Glenn Hoddle.
