After cruising to an emphatic 5-1 victory over Newcastle on Saturday afternoon, the Palace players pulled out all the stops at the squad Christmas party with the now regular costume theme bringing out some truly fantastic efforts from the lads.
As is always the case with most of the costumes, it’s difficult to decipher the identity of each and every man, but after having a quick glance, we’ve been able to locate Jason Puncheon, Fraizer Campbell, Adrian Mariappa, James McArthur and Wilfried Zaha.
It was a party that was referenced by Alan Pardew in his post-match musings, who suggested that they’d more than earnt the right to enjoy themselves on the night, before returning to training bright eyed and ready to work as we look to cement our place in the top six in the coming weeks.
There is also a video of Dwight Gayle on a hover board dressed as a Ninja Turtle for you to enjoy on the link attached above, which, if you’re honest with yourself, is all you need to make it a perfect Sunday afternoon. Some will say it’s not the most sensible of activities whilst returning from injury, but I’m all for expressing the exuberance of youth.
The lads are happy, Alan Pardew is happy and we as fans are happy. What more could you want?
