Steve Parish has given an exclusive interview to Sky Sports News, within which, he outlines all of the key details relating to the potential investment in Crystal Palace from Josh Harris and David Blitzer.
The full video, which can be seen above, lasts a little over nine minutes, and fully covers the specific details relating to the deal which has seemingly been agreed in principle between CPFC2010 and the duo of US billionaires.
Determined to see the club kick in from the platform that Premier League status provides, it’s evident from Steve’s tone, that the potential of bringing Harris and Blitzer’s financial muscle into our current investment base is something that excites him hugely.
Having spoken to both men at length, Parish seems completely convinced about their intentions for the long-term stability of the football club, welcoming their fresh perspective whilst reiterating that nothing about the day-to-day running of the organisation will change if they do indeed come on board in an official capacity.
With the conversation covering all manner of things, from the reorganisation of the ownership model to the plans for the stadium, Steve ends the interview by placing an ambitious timeframe on when he would like to have the deal confirmed.
There will of course be a huge element of scepticism surrounding the deal from some of our supporters, given the success we’ve enjoyed without a hint of foreign investment since 2010, but the video attached does go a long way to allaying many of the fears we as a fan base may be feeling over the direction the club is heading in.
