Wilfried Zaha has been through a lot in his first few years as a professional but now he is putting down serious roots in SE25, by splashing out £2.5 million on Ron Noades old house.
Having made his move back from Manchester United permanent in January of 2015, the winger now looks as settled as ever in red and blue, clearly loving every moment of his time under the guidance of Alan Pardew and now it seems he’s ready to buy a glamorous new home to set him up for life.
Noades’ former mansion is a stunning property to look around, housing seven bedrooms, six bathrooms, a cinema room and a swimming pool with the Palace badge emblazoned on the tiles below. In fact, those of you who used to watch Footballer’s Wives (there’s no shame in it) will likely recognise the place given its regular appearances on the show.
Although there has been no suggestion that Wilfried will be looking to leave the club in the near future, it’s always good to see a player looking to settle fully in the surrounding area with this particular property purchase looking like a move for life from an outsider’s perspective.
Indeed, Noades’ widow Novello is chuffed at the prospect of Zaha moving in, suggesting that Ron himself has had a part to play in bringing the Palace wideman to the property from beyond the grave.
We’re sure Wilf will be very happy there.
