Twitter was a truly wonderful place in the minutes after Crystal Palace’s massive 1-0 win over Watford yesterday afternoon.

After losing two Premier League games on the spin to Manchester City and Tottenham respectively, Alan Pardew’s men, backed up by a fantastic defensive displays from Brede Hangeland, Scott Dann and Joe Ledley battled their way to three points in front of the Sky Sports cameras.
Whilst our midweek triumph over south London rivals Charlton Athletic had restored a degree of confidence to our fanbase, there really is no substitute for a league win, which was made all the sweeter by the nature of the goal that eventually gave us all three points.
Thanks to an almost exact replica of the penalty Wilfried Zaha won at Wembley in the play-off final against the Hornets a little over two years ago, it was the travelling fans who were given the bragging rights yet again, serenading their hosts with reminders of our last meeting as we fought our way to the final whistle.
Below is a selection of the best tweets sent in reaction to the win.
Enjoy.
