Crystal Palace secured a huge three points away to Watford yesterday afternoon and as always, PalaceFanTV were there to capture it all.
Coming off the back of two straight 1-0 defeats, Alan Pardew had spoken about the need for greater concentration throughout the team in the build-up to this game, and he certainly got it from his players at Vicarage Road.
Whilst Wilfried Zaha and Yohan Cabaye will likely grab the headlines for their part in the goal which settled the game, it was the performances of Brede Hangeland, Joe Ledley and Scott Dann upon which a foundation was laid for the victory.
Grinding out what was to become our first clean sheet of the season, Pardew’s players weathered an early if brief storm from their hosts before gaining a decent foothold in the game and getting their noses in front midway through the second half.
As you would expect, the scenes when Cabaye’s penalty hits the back of the net are a joy to behold, as Palace replicated the result from the last time the two sides met in the Wembley sunshine nearly three years ago.
No one likes a Monday morning, but taking a few minutes away from work to enjoy the video attached above should make everything infinitely more bareable.
