A Huge Thank You To Everyone Who Reads HLTCO

Although we’re well aware that congratulating yourself over anything is a truly shallow move, we were extremely proud to be asked to write a preview of this weekend’s game for Manchester City’s official website.

Having updated this website regularly for more than four years, it’s extremely humbling to have been contacted by Manchester City in an official guise to get our views on the fixture in prospect, acting as something of a yardstick for the progress the site has made since it first began.

It’s easy to get caught up in the day-to-day madness of the Premier League and its never-ending storylines, but this feels like the perfect opportunity to say thank you to every person who reads the site regularly. The growth we’ve enjoyed in the last year or so, in direct correlation to the team’s success on the field has been amazing to see and we hope to continue that trend for years to come.

With the help of plenty of people, including the likes of Jack Thurston and Richard Foster, it’s comforting to know that so many Palace fans see HLTCO as a source of entertaining and informed opinion on south London’s biggest club, despite there being so many alternative blogs and websites to choose from.

Ideally, both this site and Crystal Palace FC will continue to improve steadily, resulting in a Premier League title around the 2019/20 season, but for now, have a look at the preview we’ve written for City’s website that is attached above.

Also, if you can spare an extra few seconds to click on one of the adverts featured on this site, it would be greatly appreciated by everyone associated with the site; enabling us, in the immortal words of Dougie Freedman, to feed our families.

Here’s to a successful season in red and blue.

HLTCO has no adverts, we cannot survive without your help.

Well done – always first source for info. Miss the old clunky format though… 😉

Such a good blog and despite being a Palace fan i really love how it isnt sensationalist or unrealistic. Very measured and thoughtful with a good amount of humour and plenty of juicy gossip. All the plaudits and recognition is deserved
