Wilfried Zaha was back to his audacious best during Crystal Palace’s 3-1 win over Norwich City last weekend, as the below video shows perfectly.
Given a starting role on the flank by Alan Pardew, the former Manchester United wide man attacked the Canaries’ full-backs with relish throughout his time on the field, switching from the right-hand side to the left midway through the opening 45 minutes, at the behest of his manager.
Clearly confident in his ability to terrorise the hosts from the off, his trickery was a constant thorn in their side, whilst a goal in the 39th minute showed that, following a summer of hard graft on the training pitch, he could well be primed to prove each and every one of his doubters wrong between now and May.
Below is an individual highlight reel of Wilfried’s efforts from the game, with over six minutes of footage demonstrating what a torrid time he gave the Norwich defence before being brought off midway through the second half for the equally tricky Yannick Bolasie.
Given the hawkish eyes that scour YouTube for footage of the Premier League, the video probably won’t be available for long, so I would watch it as soon as possible.
