Twitter Reacts To Crystal Palace’s Battling 1-1 Draw Against Fulham

Palace fans were out in force at Craven Cottage yesterday, watching on as Alan Pardew and his players battled their way to a 1-1 draw in the west London sunshine, thanks to a spirited performance and a second-half header from Pape Souare.

Whilst it would have been nice to see the team put the hosts to the sword, an early goal for them set the tone for what would be a tricky afternoon for the Eagles, who improved markedly after the break thanks to a triple change at half-time which saw Wilfried Zaha, Joe Ledley and Jordon Mutch enter the game.

It may not have generated quite the same buzz amongst supporters as next weeeknd’s trip to Carrow Road will, but for the 3,000 odd Palace fans in attendance, there was certainly a lot to be pleased about in the manner of our play against Kit Symons’ side.

Below is a selection of the best tweets sent in reaction to the game, with fans and players alike now clearly itching to get the new Premier League season underway.

Enjoy.
